Commerce & Conversion
Conversion optimisation work for brands where digital revenue actually moves. We audit the existing checkout, identify the highest-leverage interventions through behavioural and analytics data, ship the changes, and run a structured A/B test backlog. We don't over-promise lift percentages in the pitch; we report what we earn in the quarterly review.
Deliverables
- ·Checkout + funnel audit
- ·Optimisation roadmap (ranked by leverage)
- ·A/B test backlog + execution
- ·Analytics setup + tagging audit
- ·Quarterly performance review
Typical timeline
8-16 weeks initial, then ongoing
Commerce and conversion work focuses on the e-commerce surfaces, checkout flows, and conversion-critical pages where customer intent meets the brand and decides whether revenue moves. We do not over-promise lift percentages in the pitch. We report what we earn in the quarterly review.
The brief is a conversion gap. Traffic is healthy. Brand awareness is healthy. The checkout drops off at step two, the product detail pages do not close consideration, or the cross-sell logic is leaving revenue on the table. The work is rarely a wholesale rebuild. It is targeted intervention informed by funnel data.
How we approach commerce & conversion
We start with the data. Where exactly the drop-off happens, on which device, in which flow, for which segment. The funnel question comes before the design question.
Task-based usability tests run on the suspect pages with real customers, because the analytics tell us where but not why.
Alternative versions of the highest-impact pages ship to controlled traffic via an A/B test framework. We measure, learn, and iterate. The work is rigorous about evidence rather than design opinion, but the outputs are still considered design work, not generic CRO templates.

What you take away
A conversion audit with prioritised opportunities, ranked by impact rather than by what is easiest to fix. Redesigned key pages. An experimentation plan with measurable hypotheses, not just a backlog of ideas. A measurement dashboard the team can use to monitor and iterate post-engagement.
Where the existing platform supports it, we ship the redesigned pages live within the engagement. Where the platform is part of the problem, we flag that early and scope the fix separately rather than burying it in CRO work.

Engagements run six to twelve weeks for a targeted conversion sprint, then quarterly performance reviews where the relationship continues. The work fits established e-commerce operations seeing diminishing returns from their current platform.
